Did you know that for nearly 70 years, Christmas seals have been fighting lung disease? Now, they're also fighting smoking and air pollution. I personally don't like smoking, and I've been known to ask a few audiences not to smoke while I'm on. Not only is it bad for their health, but cigarettes can hurt the innocent non-smokers around them. Cigarette smoking is an individual form of pollution. But the fight against the growing pollution of the air we all breathe is another important year-round job for Christmas seals. This year's Christmas seals were designed by children, and believe me, they're really beautiful. And because children's lungs are especially vulnerable, it's also appropriate.
