What's so surprising about a trained mechanic doing an expert job? This man is blind. So is this stenographer. She takes dictation on a braille shorthand machine and types from her shorthand on a regular typewriter. This high school teacher is blind, too. He teaches English and history to sighted students and uses braille notes. Did you ever think that a blind person could be a teacher, a stenographer, or an auto-transmission mechanic? With training and education, blind people can do any job that doesn't really require sight. They ask for a chance to prove they can do the job they've been trained for.
