A plane shoots down a balloon, burst aflame from the gas bag. The barrage balloons are effective in checking air attack, so the Nazi pilots go after them. And aircraft fire as we see an incendiary bullet actually burst a balloon. The big hydrogen bags are vulnerable, but easy to replace. A common incident as Nazi raids strike with horror. British pilots in Britain's reply. They return from the attacks on Berlin and other German cities as the Royal Air Force strikes back. There's only brief rest for them. Back from one raid, they get instructions for another. Ceaseless flying in defense and counterattack.
