Film Transcript / Subtitles

I used to waste time being on time. While waiting, I'd fume and pace, and when the tardy person finally arrived, I'd state my displeasure. And for a good part of the day, I stayed upset. Being on time was as much a habit with me as tardiness seemed to be in others. And then I thought, instead of using that waiting time to get into a frenzied state of mind, I'd relax, meditate, consider the world about me as evidence of God expressing himself. And I pray. Perhaps I have time only for the Lord's Prayer, but it would be enough. Now, after waiting, I laugh at the usual excuses, and even the remainder of my day now seems more pleasant. My waiting minutes are praying minutes. Take time and try it. You'll be amazed at the results.
