Film Transcript / Subtitles

For the first time, at the Kennedy Institute, as in schools all over the country, retired children are competing for a new kind of award designed especially for them. Winning this award means much to these children. But our tests show that learning to reach for physical achievement can have even greater significance. It helps the child in his school work, leads him to more lasting friendships, it makes him healthier, happier, and brighter too. All children are born to play. If you have a retired child or no one, make sure the child is tested by his school or by any recreation agency in your community. And he will have a chance to win the Champ Award offered by the Joseph F. Kennedy Jr. Foundation. For more information, write Special Fitness Awards, Washington, D.C.
